Wow... Where to begin with this piece...

This is another one of my DICE characters, Hwan Ji Yong Moon, or Ji for short. He's one of my more tougher characters who just seems to get kicked in the butt everytime he turns around.
For starters, his parents never like the thought of him being a dancer or a polyamorous bisexual (I know, what twats). They pretty much disowned him. Etcetera street dealings happened after that, since he lived there (plus was that he met best friend there). He finds the girl of his dreams only for her to cheat of him with her jerky ex-boyfriend and for her to get pregnant by him. Unfortunately, he doesn't find this out until the boy's grown up and gone off to the military. He lives with the constant thought that he has to share his wife's heart with that sonofabitch ex-boyfriend of her's.
Yet, the absolute worse thing that happened to him was the death of his only baby girl, Sai. Lots of drama went behind it, but basically it was the result of an abusive relationship that was taken too far. He watched her kill herself and, only seconds later, held her in his arms as she died. The whole incident tore him apart.

The tattoo on his back was done in her honor, the desing being commssioned by The Great Chiharu Endo, his father-in-law >.<;.

When I did the tattoo, I attempted to imitate the ancient Japanese sumi-e style. However, as always, I failed majorly. Yet, it still came out decent. I'm happy for that ^_^. It's supposed to be a partially disrobed "geisha" figure with a dragon tattoo on her leg. Sai had numerous tattoos but her most prominent one was the dragon tattoo that went up the entire length of one side of her body. I forget which side though u.u;;. Sai also had a thing for being naked (she was a celebrated stripper), hence the partially disrobed-ness XD. She also had a shoe fetish and flowing blonde and brown hair (I forgot to shade in the brown parts XD;; ). The falling flower petals represent the death of someone so lovely and beneath her is her entire name in Korean, Ling Sai Mei.
Kinda weird how I mixed up Japanese and Korean in there XD. Heck, if I knew a few Chinese characters that actually made sense, I probably would've use them too XD (the poor girl was just considered pan-asian since she was a mix of all of these XD).

Some of the other tattoos on him include pictorial gashes on his wrist and shoulder that expose a layer of muscle. He considers these his preverbial battle scars XD (Yeah, he's kind of a dork). The tiger stripes are for bravery. Also, if you look real closely on his left hand, you can see some Korean writing on his knuckles which transliterate (or at least I tried) to Kai Jyu, the name of the "illegitimate" son he'd taken care of, something he never saw in a regretful light.

Yes, there are some things funky with the picture >.<;. Like the torso and the arm and such, yet I was exceptionally pleased with how well the hand on his neck came out . I probably won't fix it, but I will definitely learn what I did wrong and do better next time. ^^
